Hong Kong companies tapping into Guangxi's logistics sector: Nanning Bonded Logistics Centre

Cold storage facilities are being constructed in two phases, The first phase, now operational, offers whole-process integrated cold-chain logistics services that encompass warehousing, distribution,  processing, inventory management, purchase and sale agency, financing and pledging, information platforms and business advisory services.

Total planned area: 53.55 ha. Phase 1 of the project consists of a customs checkpoint area, an offices area, a customs inspection area and a bonded logistics area. Phase 2 mainly consists of roads and ancillary facilities, cold storage units and a display centre.

Backed by the demand for bonded logistics services from Nanning and major industry bases in and around the region, a “waterless port” zone is constructed. It will serve as a coastal port and develop into a bonded logistics hub of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone that links up China’s southwest with Southeast Asia. It will also develop into a major logistics, commercial and trading hub that connects with a number of seaports, airports and border checkpoints.
