General Introduction

Fuzhou is seated in the eastern part of the Jiangxi Province. Numerous highways and railways, including the Yingtan-Xiamen Railway, Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway, State Highway 320, State Highway 316 and State Highway 206, run through the city.

Fuzhou has abundant mineral resources such as gold, silver and copper. The city is reputed as the 'barn of Jiangxi Province' due to its rich output of fruits.

The industry sector accounted for 41% of the GDP in 2015. Major industries include electricity production and supply, paper making, textiles, food and beverages, ceramics and chemicals.
