General Introduction

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, bordering Guizhou Province to the north. Transportation mainly relies on highways, railways and waterways, connecting cities in Guangxi and Guizhou Provinces.

Hechi is widely known as the town of non-ferrous metals as it is rich in mineral resources, such as tin, lead, zinc, antimony, silver, indium, cadmium, sulfur and arsenic. Reserves of tin and indium rank first in China. Hechi is also the largest production base of tin and lead in China.
