General Introduction

Bijie is located in the northwestern part of the Guizhou Province. It can be reached by highways, including The Guiyang-Bijie Expressway, State Highway 321 and State Highway 326.

The industry sector is the main economic driver in Bijie, accounting for 31% of the GDP in 2015. Major industries in the city are electricity and coal mining.

Tourism is also an important sector. Bejie has rich tourism resources including the Zhijin Cave Scenic Area, Caohai Lake and the One-Hundred-Li Azalea Belt.
