In line with the Interim Measures of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China for the Administration of Pre-Ruling, a consignee may apply to the designated customs office with jurisdiction over its place of registration for a pre-ruling on the Place of Origin of goods three months prior to their due import date. Typically, this pre-ruling will then be valid for three years.
