According to the country’s prevailing laws, items listed in the Catalogue of Import and Export Commodities Subject to Inspection and Quarantine by Entry-Exit Inspection Authorities may be inspected upon entering or exiting China and may be obliged to undergo the relevant quarantine procedures should they be deemed appropriate. The latest edition of the Catalogue can be found under the Policy Release heading on the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine website.
