Under the terms of the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), Hong Kong service suppliers meeting the stipulated requirements may establish medical institutions on the Chinese mainland in order to provide medical, dental and hospital services. This can be conducted on a wholly-owned basis or as an equity joint venture / contractual joint venture with a mainland medical institution, company, business or other commercial organisation.

For all enquiries on CEPA liberalisation measures and specific applications, please visit the Industry and Trade Department of the HKSAR Government website.
