Q: I Want to Relocate My Warehouse in Hong Kong to the Chinese Mainland. What Are the Preferential Policies Offered by the Mainland Government to Hong Kong Companies? Are Tax Payment and Customs Declaration Required for Goods Delivered to Hong Kong?

A: 1. Currently the mainland does not offer any preferential policies to Hong Kong companies relocating their warehouses in Hong Kong to Shenzhen.

2. Custom declaration is required for goods delivered to Hong Kong, while import duty is levied on liquors, tobacco, hydrocarbon oil and methyl alcohol only.
