China Introduces Multi-Product Manufacturing Licences

In a bid to streamline the licensing procedure for companies looking to manufacture a number of different industrial products, starting from 15 January 2018, businesses can apply for a single production licence allowing them to produce up to 38 different products listed in the Catalogue of Products Subject to the Administration of Production Licence for Industrial Products.

This new policy was outlined in the Implementation Plan for One Enterprise One Licence Reform – Production Licences for Industrial Products, as recently issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
