New Mainland Food Safety Regulations Set for 1 October Implementation

These new requirements – The Operating Rules for Food Safety in Catering Services – come into effect as of 1 October this year and apply to all providers of catering services, including employee canteens. In the case of third-party online food-ordering platforms and associated businesses, they specify strict requirements with regard to food safety management, digital postings and the maintenance of detailed records of all online food orders.
