Transitional Arrangements Announced for Products No Longer CCC-Approved

Details regarding the transitional arrangements relating to products that no longer fall within the remit of the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) system have been released by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China.

The specified protocols vary in line with the methods products have previously been CCC authenticated:

  • In the case of products verified via the printing/pressing of the CCC mark onto the product body, packaging or other related area, the practice should cease once the current stock of such packaging etc has been exhausted
  • In the case of products where the CCC mark is directly affixed, this practice should be immediately discontinued upon the expiry of the relevant CCC certification document
